Promoting the interests of the school, through cooperation between parents, teachers, students and members of the community.
Assisting in the provision of resources, facilities and amenities for the school and fostering community interest in educational matters. Our meetings this year will be held in the Professional Learning Space within the Staffroom (entry from the main Quad) on Monday evenings of Weeks 4 and 8 of each term. Everyone is welcome and we encourage parents and carers to attend.
The first P&C meeting of the year will take place on Monday evening February 24 at 6.00 pm. Adele Orme (President), Deb Andrews (Secretary) and Teresa Bognalbal (Treasurer) and Tracy Griffiths (Principal) welcome everyone to attend.
Come along and have your say on how the P&C can assist the students at Hampton. There are decisions to be made about the next community event – movie night in the quad and much more.
We look forward to seeing you there. Meetings will take place in the Professional Learning Space within the Staffroom. Access from the Quad. Parking in the school’s administration carpark (access via the driveway to the right of the school front lawn).
About P&Cs – Parent & Citizen Associations (P&Cs) are a legislated forum in government schools for parents and citizens who want to make a positive difference in public education. P&Cs were formed to be able to:
- Participate in fundraising for school resources
- Contribute to working partnerships in the school community
- Discuss educational matters

HSHS Canteen
The HSHS canteen is managed by the P&C and open daily for recess and lunch orders.
The canteen employs 3 staff and regularly enjoys the assistance of parent volunteers. Parents are encouraged to contact the canteen manager Chris Moore if they are interested in volunteering. Phone 6235 7142 or email [email protected].
